Improving the performance of an organization requires improving the processes of the business.
The process optimization starts by gaining a thorough understanding of your manufacturing process and the interaction between your processes, employees, systems and feedback loops. This is crucial in helping us benchmark current processes and functional relationships.
The business process improvement tools and techniques that we use depend on the type of problem identified in the business diagnosis. At one end of the spectrum it could be a 2-3-day event that fixes local problems within an operational work team. At the other, it could be a complex, cross-functional process redesign that delivers transformational improvement across the entire organization. More often we would undertake improvement projects using Lean (PDCA) or Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies.
We coach and train your people to deliver process improvement by identifying the seven types of wastes that can exist in any processes. We give them the tools to differentiate between value-added and non-value-added activities in a process and provide hands-on consulting support to eliminate the wastes and optimize the processes.
When strategic objectives change we can reconfigure your enterprise-wide processes, organization and people.
Working with your senior management team, we can assess the projected needs of your stakeholders and customers, and analyze how your core value streams and supporting activities should change. We can help you to understand the complexity of internal and external process interactions, and the implications for your relationships with customers and suppliers. We will also show you how to assess the likely impact on your internal ways of working, organization structure and policy deployment. We then help you to determine an implementation route that will minimize risk to short term effectiveness and optimize long-term benefits.
If needed we can train your employees with White Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt.
